Open Letter to Barnstable Town Council
An Open Letter to the Barnstable Town Council
Dear Honorable Councilors:
RE: Agenda Item 2014-067-Abusive & Paranoid Political Conspiracy Allegations
Regardless of the position that the respective members of our Town Council may eventually take on Agenda Item 2014-067, the group petition requesting a binding ballot question allowing town voters to express their collective will about that Cape Cod Commission issue, at this time I would like to offer my sincere apology about something.

I would like to humbly apologize that the Town Council has recently been forced to face what I feel amounted to wholesale abusive, paranoid and unfounded criticism regarding a non-existent conspiracy of some sort by Felicia Penn (and others) relative to the wise, logical and sensible decision to temporarily delay the formal public hearing and potential vote on the matter in question until April 3rd. Such juvenile mad hatter claims with no basis in fact amount to little more than chasing rabbits down holes without rhyme or reason.
With that said, I sincerely hope that you attend and enjoy the spirited debate taking place about "The Future of the Cape Cod Commission" at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 28th at the historic West Parish Meetinghouse located at 2049 Route 149 in West Barnstable.
