Barnstable Police Seize Crack, Cash, Arrest One in Drug Bust

Following a two-month investigation police arrested a Hyannis man for allegedly selling crack cocaine.

 

Barnstable detectives along with the Street Crime Unit said in a press release that during the investigation they witnessed Marlon Flynch, 42, conduct numerous drug transactions in the Hyannis area.

During the week of May 26th the department obtained a search warrant for Flynch’s motor vehicle and his home at 18 Quaker Rd.

During the search police recovered a bag of crack cocaine, a digital scale, plastic baggies, 7 cell phones, 2 loaded handguns and $4,500 in cash.

Flynch was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, improper storage of a firearm, and 2 counts of distribution of cocaine. He was arraigned in Barnstable District Court and his bail was set at $1000.
