Marine Environment Theme Week Long Class

Description:

During the summer of 2014, Cape Cod Maritime Museum will be offering maritime science and art ("STEAM") based classes for youth and adults. There are two, one week long themes throughout the summer. the classes can be taken as the week long seminar at $190, an individual clas for $45 or the activity with each class at 10am for the cost of $15. The full class is offered from 9:30am-12:30pm and they are for ages 7 and older.

Classes Include:
Mondays: Beachology; Geology and Oceanography Effects on Shoals, Shifting Sands and Sea Floor
Tuesdays: Meteorology; Wind, Weather and Coastal Environmental Impacts
Wednesdays: Environmental Quality Water Testing; Water, Flora & Fauna of Cape Cod
Thursdays: Native Americans and Weir Fishing
Fridays: Fish Painting and Fish ID's
