Boating Wednesdays: Knots; A Journey In Applied Math

Description:

Rope (line) used in boating is durable,expensive and is often used in handling heavy loads, e.g., when berthing, mooring, towing another vessel, preparing for a storm, or managing sails. The emphasis, therefore, is on safety, reliability and convenience. Come learn about different knots, try tying them and choose which you would use for different applications

Its fun for all ages! Both kids(7+) and adults can take part in the classes

Classes can be taken as an individual class for $45 or the activity with each class at 10am for the cost of $15.
