Sara Mannal fell in love with the news business while attending the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where she wrote for the student run newspaper the Lantern. Sara then pursued an internship with WCMH, the local NBC affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. 

Sara began her career in news as an Assignment Editor for the statewide cable news station, The Ohio News Network. During that time she maintained relationships with 6 affiliates across the state, gathered news and wrote for ONN's website.

Sara moved to Cape Cod with her family in 2009 and returned to local news working as a radio news-anchor with Cape Cod Broadcasting. 

Sara made the move to work as a Local Editor for Patch.com in October 2012. 

Sara lives in Centerville with her husband Brian and two children. Brian works as an attorney in Hyannis, and is the  State Representative for the 2nd Barnstable District.
