ReplyThere is no money in this capital plan for adding classrooms or schools. The School Building Committee is still examining the study and other options that came up earlier this year and has not submitted any recommendations yet to the full School Committee. I will get an update on that asap.

ReplyAll Town Council and committee meetings are open to the public and in the auditorium at Town Hall unless otherwise noted (http://www.braintreema.gov/townclerk/PostedMeetingNotices.htm – this site updates with new meeting notices about three-four days before the meetings are held). The May 21 meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. The May 15 meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. but also includes any callbacks the Ways & Means Committee needs to make on departments for the budget review, so I'm not sure exactly when the meals tax discussion will take place that night.
