Sexual Assault Suspect Sought By Barnstable Police
A teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at Hamblin's Pond public restroom yesterday.
Barnstable Police are looking for a tan white or light skinned Hispanic male accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at Hamblin's Pond yesterday afternoon. The Barnstable Police log showed that rape was reported at 12:18 pm at Hamblin's Pond, although police are reporting they are looking for someone involved in a sexual assault. The victim told police while she was in the public restroom a young adult male with a bandana partially covering his face brandished a knife and threatened her. The suspect allegedly touched the victim in an "inappropriate" manner and told her not to tell anyone or he'd hurt her, police said in a release.
