Some Steamship Authority and Hy-Line Cruises boats are back on schedule.
The Steamship Authority has received permission from the U.S. Coast Guard to resume its ferry service to and from Martha’s Vineyard. All boats are running between Woods Hole and Vineyard Haven on schedule. A further update for the Nantucket route will be issued as soon as the U.S. Coast Guard has completed an assessment of Hyannis and Nantucket harbors and we have received their permission to resume service. Hyline Cruises' ferry service to Nantucket will resume service at noon Tuesday October 30th.
Strong winds and high seas mean no boats between Hyannis and the Islands.
There is a Wind Advisory issued until midnight tonight for Cape Cod and all of southern New England into southern New Hampshire. The strong, damaging winds will be from the southwest at 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph For the most up-to-date cancellation information, visit the Steamship Authority website:www.steamshipauthority.com and Hy-line Cruises.
