Furry Affair Raises $85K for MSPCA
From Bobby Orr to Osterville bigwigs, the Furry Affair helped the MSPCA raise critical funds.
The MSPCA-Angell’s “Furry Affair”---a night of celebrating animals and animal lovers on Cape Cod—took place the evening of Saturday, June 2 at the Wianno Club in Osterville, Mass. More than 200 animal lovers joined the party to raise funds for MSPCA-Centerville’s ongoing animal rehabilitation and adoption efforts on the Cape. The event featured numerous auctions and raffles and raised about $85,000, $25,000 resulting from a high-profile “bidding war” for golf with former Boston Bruins star Bobby Orr.
