State Gives Local Council Charge of Growing Business
Cape Cod Economic Development Council Inc. received status as a Regional Economic Development Organization from the state and will work to manage grants to grow employment and entrepreneurs.
Today the Cape Cod Chamber's sister corporation, Cape Cod Economic Development Council Inc., received approval for status as a Regional Economic Development Organization (REDO) for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the fiscal year 2012. This follows on a long tradition of managing grants and working closely with the Massachusetts Office of Business Development. The CCEDC Inc. REDO covers Cape Cod and the Islands, and works with key partners in the region.
