Patti Page Dies at 85
The singer known for her song “Old Cape Cod” passed away Tuesday after suffering from a heart ailment and a lung disease.
Page died New Year’s Day in Encinitas, CA where she lived for several decades, according to the Huffington Post. Page was scheduled to be honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Grammy Awards later this month. Page helped make Cape Cod a household name with her song “Old Cape Cod”; she was also know for songs like “Tennesee Waltz” and “How Much is that Doggy in the Window”.
