2011, The Year of Resolution Commitment?
Can Zumba and hanging out with friends be the key to a happier year? Will my girls stop texting so much?
2011 - Time for New Year's Resolutions. From the word "resolution" comes resolve. Having resolve means being committed. So as I write this column, am I committed? Hmmm…we will see. I usually do not make resolutions but here goes. Of course, the first resolution that comes to mind is exercising. Most of us think we can always "move" more and I am one of those people. Did I enjoy a few extra tidbits of sweetness in the teachers' room, courtesy of Mrs. Berry? You know it. Did I break open the second horseradish-cheddar bowl of pub cheese when Sue and Todd were here for the holidays? What do you think? Okay, but for the record I never stopped exercising. However, I certainly can step it up a notch. Hey, I have a wedding to attend in June…
