I'll admit that sometimes I am!
I just read the article in Time magazine about the Tiger Mom, Amy Chua. I have not read her book, but the article intrigued me. I have mentioned that Mick and I have two daughters. They make our lives extremely busy, hectic and oh so rewarding…most of the time. I really do try to find that silver lining when living with a teenager and a “tween”—you know, that joke in the midst of the girls ignoring me while texting. Yet after reading this article in Time, I have to be honest: Should I be a Tiger Mom? Or better yet, what animal should I coin myself that would be just as effective? Hi Lisa, Nicely put. There's an interesting discussion on KellyNaturally.com "Parenting Through the Perfect Storm." I think reprinting this as an entry to the blog would be a great contribution.
