No injuries in 3-alarm fire at the Calvary Baptist Church on West Main Street in Hyannis.
An overloaded extension cord may be the culprit of a 3-alarm fire at the Calvary Baptist Church on the corner of Lincoln and West Main in Hyannis, according to a Cape Cod Times report. Just after midnight, the Cape and Islands Red Cross was called to the scene to assist with people inside the building, Kat Powers, director of communications for the Cape and Islands Red Cross said. The Times reported the fire came from a room where bedding was for people who were staying at the church. Photos coming this morning.
