Opening day for the Cape Cod Baseball League is fast approaching. Find out when it’s time to play ball.
Catching a Cape Cod Baseball League game during the summer is a tradition for many and a must for sports fans of all ages. This year opening day is Wednesday June 12. All Cape Cod Baseball League games are free to attend, but donations are appreciated. According to pointstreak.com there are five games scheduled for opening day, times and locations are listed below. Families, friends, students and faculty gathered to send off 366 graduates during the commencement ceremonies at Barnstable High School Saturday afternoon.
Despite being a rather grey morning the clouds lifted just in time for the graduation ceremony at Barnstable High School Saturday afternoon. 366 seniors took their final walk and earned their High School Diploma with family, friends and faculty looking on. Congratulations to all of the seniors of the Falmouth High School class of 2013. Below is a full list of graduates:

Barnstable Senior Prom was held Friday May 31 at the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center. The students got to strut their stuff both on the way into the conference center and onto the dance floor during this year’s prom promenade. Cape Cod Community College hosted its 51st commencement ceremony Thursday afternoon at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis.
President John Cox officiated his first Commencement this year and former CEO of Cape Air, Capt. David Bushy, gave the commencement address. The International Inn Bar and Grill was placed on probation or received an "F" in the town of Barnstable Health Rating System that was recently released. The Health Department will now frequently monitor the International Inn because it failed to meet minimum sanitation standards. 10 Barnstable restaurants received a "C" rating, meaning there were two critical violations with less than four non-critical violations or seven to eight non-critical violations. A critical violation is defined as "violations are those that could lead to foodborne illness if left uncorrected," according to the Mass.gov. The Town of Barnstable Health Inspectors rated the following food establishments with a "C”:

Spring is almost here and that means it’s time to register your child for Little League, we have all the details you need.
Live registration for Barnstable Little League is taking place Saturday at the Barnstable High School Field House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration forms are available on the organizations website. During the live registration Saturday organizers will also be collecting volunteer forms for background checks. If you plan to volunteer in anyway be sure to bring a copy of a photo ID, a Barnstable Little League volunteer form and a Barnstable Little League CORI form. For the first time this year Barnstable Little League is offering a new instructional division for 5-year-olds, called the minnow division. Online registration is also available through April 19.
