Founded in 1909, Whelden Memorial Library is located on a beautiful tree-lined street. It offers audiobooks and movies as well as best-sellers. The library also has free Internet service.

This is a wonderful, friendly neighborhood library in beautiful West Barnstable. Some of the things I like are the great DVD collection, mysteries, new fiction, children's room, computer stations, free Internet, and more. The Friends of the Whelden Library hold book sales on some Saturdays starting in May. Highly recommended!
