I worked at this store off and on from 1978 to 1985 while going to school. We had a great crew and had a LOT of fun making this place the most successful store in the chain. It was called Curtis Compact Convienence in those days but was still owned by the Tedeschis. In the early 80's this store was one of the few places in Town that was open on Sunday's and holidays. We would have long lines of people at the registers and sometimes the crowds got hostile. We just turned up the music and processed the orders. The store manager Dick Lonergan was THE hardest working guy on Cape Cod. The stories I could tell about what went on in the store's "backroom" would remind you of the movie The Hangover. Good Times.
