May Institute CSU
May Institute is a nonprofit organization that provides educational and rehabilitative services for those living with autism, developmental and mental disabilities, neurological disorders and behavioral disorders. The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) that is in operation at this address is a 10-bed hospital diversion program handy to Hyannis for adults with major mental illness. The program helps to stabilize individuals in crisis and offers an alternative to hospitalization. The May Institute also runs Baybridge - a clubhouse program at 278 Main St Hyannis that provides services for those living with mental illness. The clubhouse offers housing, educational, employment and social services.
