Summer Sampler at the Osterville Museum The museum will host a variety of local vendors including Cape Cod Beer, the Osterville Fish Market, Momo's Food Emporium and To-Taste to fundraise for the museum. This year's theme is "Piggy Went To Market," and Stage Door Canteen will perform live jazz. There will also be a silent auction. Tickets are $55 for one, or $100 for a couple. Free Music Fridays Bring a beach chair and relax while enjoying local bands during the first installment of this summer's Free Summer Sounds concert series, sponsored by the Cotuit Center for the Arts. Each Friday concertfeatures a short entertainment spotlight featuring dancers, jugglers or ukuleles. When and where: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 135 South St. in Hyannis. Free parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot.
Ballroom Dancing Put on your dancing shoes and come enjoy Stagedoor Canteen and dance with a variety of people. Singles and couples are welcome, and the event is BYOB. The event is $17 for members, $22 for non-members. Donations for the Yarmouth Food Pantry are welcome. When and where: 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at 528 Forest Rd. in West Yarmouth.
