Monday Essentials: Mystery at Marstons Mills Library
Here are the essential things to know in the town of Barnstable this week.
Ridgewood Park Meeting
A meeting about Ridgewood Park is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m. in the Shepley Room at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center. The meeting will give neighbors a chance to review the proposed improvements.
No Boundaries Speaker Series
Dr. Robyn Hannigan, the Dean of the School for the Environment at UMass Boston, will speak at Cape Cod Community College on Tuesday, Oct. 1, as part of the STEM and Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, "No Boundaries: Transforming Environmental Education." The event will start at 11 a.m. in the Lorusso Technology Solarium, 2240 Iyannough Road.
MMPL Mystery Book and Film Group
Marstons Mills Public Library will kick off a celebration of mystery books and films with a potluck supper and discussion of Prestige, by Christopher Priest, on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m.
Town Council Meeting
Barnstable Town Council will meet Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m.
