School is in session. The first day of school in the Barnstable Public Schools is Tuesday, September 3.
Beauty School Open House
Empire Beauty School, 259 North Street, Hyannis, will hold an open house on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. A variety of speakers and events will be held throughout the day. Call 508-771-1680 for more information.
Canceled Town Hall Events
A Town Council Press Conference on Tuesday as well as a Town Council Meeting on Thursday have been canceled.
September Sounds
On Saturday, the Bart Weisman Smooth Jazz Group will perform at the Hyannis Harbor Artist Shanties, hosted by HyArts from 2 to 3 p.m.
