5 Great Places to Send Your Donations

In the spirit of giving, consider helping out local children and families in need.

What They Do: A Baby Center (ABC) provides at no charge, every 30 days, critical basic items like diapers and clothing for infants and toddlers up to the age of three who live on Cape Cod and the Islands; and whose families meet income guidelines as identified by the federal WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program. 

What They Need: There is always a critical need for diapers and wipes, and any clothing items, especially hats, coats, gloves and other warm seasonal items.

What They Do: The mission of Cape Abilities is to serve individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod by educating, counseling and providing residential, therapeutic, social and employment supports so as to empower them to achieve meaningful and valued roles in society.

What They Need: They are always looking for monetary assistance.

How to Donate: Call 508-778-5040 to make donation arrangements.

What They Do:The church collects food for needy families.

What They Need: All kinds of non-perishable food items.

How to Donate: Call 508-775-1846 for drop-off hours.

What They Do: Housing Assistance Corporation delivers housing and employment services that help Cape and Islands residents secure a safe, stable and decent place to live. Our work is inspired and guided by our deep respect for the people we serve, our broader communities and the planet that we share.

What They Need: Monetary donations are always accepted.

Toys for Tots

What They Do: The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

What They Need: New, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages.
