Your Guide: LoveLocal Fest

Love.Live.Local, an online publication that highlights community members and helps visitors discover Cape Cod, is hosting a "LoveLocal Fest" on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Aselton Park in Hyannis.

The family-friendly festival will include a variety of food trucks, face painting, lawn games farmers, live music, local vendors and designers, a fashion show and more, co-founder Kate Sheehan told Patch in an email. The event intends to complement the activities in the Hyannis HyArts Cultural District.

Festival-goers are encouraged to bring a towel or blanket to lay out on the lawn for the live music performances.

"Get to know your local artists, shop owners, farmers and musicians, who will be more than happy to tell you about their interests and inspirations," their website wrote of the event.

The festival will also occur on the last Sunday of both August and September.
