RE:                       Homework Help Program at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center

HySOY, Inc. a charitable organization with the mission of building positive community with our youth is offering free Homework Help to students in grades 3-5 in Hyannis. Currently, we are seeking adult and high school volunteers to serve in the areas of general homework help, skill building in mathematics and English, reading assistance, technology skills and recreational activities.

The program runs Mondays through Thursdays, beginning in October, and volunteers are asked to commit to one day per week from 3-5:30pm. We do have seasonal volunteers to accommodate part-time residents and students involved in sports. Volunteers choose from the above areas and work closely with a small group of students each week. Our upcoming training dates are as follows:

High School Students:   Thursday, September 20th from 3:30-4:30PM at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center

Adults: Tuesday, September 25th from 4-6pm at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center
