RE: New Investigation of Cape Cod Commission Practices by the Office of the Inspector General

Relative to the above-noted matter, please review the attached document authored by the Deputy Director of Audit, Oversight and Investigations with the IG's Office concerning the recent questionable creation of a "Communcations Coordinator" position (utilizing taxpayer subsidized funding) for  a specific individual by Cape Cod Commission officials, which apparently did not follow normal hiring protocols mandated by federal and state guidelines as well as the Barnstable County Home Rule Charter.
