State Grants $36 Million to Cape Cod Community College Science Building

The funds will help improve the campus's Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics resources.

Governor Deval Patrick recently announced a $36 million investment to help build a new science building at Cape Cod Community College.

The new building will replace the current science facility which was built in 1970 and will modernize the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) resources at CCCC.

The investment is the final step for the Patrick Administration to make STEM-specific improvements at every state and community college in Massachusetts.

“We believe strongly that innovation is this region’s future, and we are committed to being a powerful force as it progresses," said Cape Cod Community College President John L. Cox "This commitment by the Commonwealth will create state-of-the-art facilities in which passionate educators, and visionary innovators, will use the most current knowledge and technology to inspire our students and advance the region’s economy."
