Mass. Dems Tap Lynnfield Senator as State Chairman

There's been a changing of the guard among Bay State Democrats.

Dems picked State Senator Tom McGee (D-Lynn) to replace the always-quotable John Walsh as leader of the Massachusetts Democratic Party organization.

Walsh had captained Democrats' election pushes since 2007.

McGee's Senate district includes Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Swampscott, Saugus and Nahant.
