Lynch Participates in "Mayors for Meals"

On Wednesday Intermin Town Manager Tom Lynch joined Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands staff members Leslie Scheer, Executive Director; Claire Sintoni, Protective Services Case Worker and Carol Koepp, Barnstable Meals on Wheels Site Coordinator and volunteers Anne and Charles Smith and Scott McGuire for "Mayors for Meals" Day in recognition of the Meals on Wheels program. 

Locally, Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands runs the Meals on Wheels program out of the Barnstable Senior Center. In 2011 the Town of Barnstable served 39,391 Meals on Wheels to 321 consumers.
