Turn in a Gun, Go for a Run
Everyone who turns in an unwanted gun this Saturday at the Yarmouth Police Department will receive $50 off of the next pair of running or workout shoes from Hanlon Shoes, a $10 gift card to DiParma's and a $20 gift card to Powderhorn Outfitters.
From the Yarmouth Police Department:
On Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 8AM to 4PM Yarmouth Police Headquarters will serve as a collection point for anyone who has unwanted firearms or ammunition.
Having a firearm or ammunition in your home is a big responsibility and demands the highest level of respect and security. If anyone finds that they no longer want the responsibility of having a firearm or ammunition in their home please contact us and we will appropriately dispose of the items in accordance with Massachusetts laws.

Anyone who brings a firearm or ammunition to our facility must make sure it is unloaded and fully-secured. If there are any doubts about its safety please call us and a Police Officer will come to your home, safely remove it and transport it to our facility.
