Police arrested Troy M. Johnson, 18, of Hyannis, during a motor vehicle stop at Staples at 2:23 a.m. Johnson was arrested on two default warrants, one for malicious destruction of property and one for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Police arrested Jean Serno Theloma, 22, of West Yarmouth, during a traffic stop at Staples at 12:32 a.m. Theloma was charged with 2 counts of assault and battery by dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle recklessly so as to endanger, speeding, failure to stop for a police officer, resisting arrest, 2 counts assault and battery, one way street violation, marked lanes violation and red light.
