Two Men Charged with Crack Cocaine Distribution

An Osterville man and a Hyannis man were arrested at a Hyannis motel for multiple drug charges.

Eric A. Brando, Jr., 21, of Osterville, and Aquil W. Pryor, 37, of Hyannis, were arrested at a Hyannis motel on multiple drug charges.

Barnstable Narcotics Detective Peter Ginnetty and Barnstable Street Crime Unit member Deputy Michael Huse were conducting surveillance on Brando, who was wanted on a warrant for possession with intent to distribute class A/heroin.

Brando was observed inside a motel on Route 132, where he was placed under arrest without incident.

Pryor was also in the room, where 10 grams of crack cocaine was in plain view. Both men were charged with possession of class B/crack cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the narcotics laws.

Brando also had 9 grams of heroin and two grams of crack cocaine in his pants pockets, leading to an additional charge of possession class/A heroin with intent to distribute.

While a warrant for Brando led detectives to the motel, Pryor was also wanted for possession with intent to distribute narcotics. The warrant was issues on Aug. 17, 2012 from Philadelphia.

Pryor has a criminal record in Philadelphia going back to 1997, including a three-year state prison sentence in 2008.
