Red Cross Steps in to Help Victims of Centerville Fire

A fire at a home in Centerville displaced nine individuals and the Cape and Islands chapter of the American Red Cross stepped in to help.

 

Four children and five adults were displaced after a fire damaged the attic and roof of a home on North Main St. in Centerville Wednesday evening, according to the Cape Cod Times.

The Cape and Islands chapter of the American Red Cross is helping some of the residents with temporary housing.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze, but told the Cape Cod Times it does not appear suspicious.
