Police Log: Arrests for Forgery, Shoplifting, Domestic Violence

The Barnstable Police Department provided the following. It does not indicate a conviction.

Notable incidents from Saturday January 19, 2013

Police investigated a report of shoplifting at the Home Depot on Iyannough Rd. at 2:04 p.m.

Police arrested Ryan Paul George, 19, of Sandwich, for allegedly forging a check at Stop and Shop on Attucks Ln at 2:07 p.m. George was also charged with being a disorderly person.

Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile for allegedly shoplifting at Macy’s Mens and Home store at the Cape Cod Mall at 3:35 p.m.

Police arrested Maycon V. Brizola, 27, of Hyannis at an apartment on Ocean St at 4:14 p.m. Brizola was charged with assault and battery domestic violence and intimidation of a witness.

Police arrested William G. Galvin, 51, of Hyannis on Wagon Ln. at 6:46 p.m. Galvin was charged with assault and battery domestic violence.

Police arrested Robert S. Opdyke, 62, of Marstons Mills while following up on a previous case on Main St. at 7:34 p.m. Opdyke was charged with intimidation of a witness.

Police arrested James R. Gall, 47, of Hyannis at Seaside Pub on Main St. at 10:12 p.m. Gall was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police arrested Waide A. Langille, 27, of Hyannis at an apartment on Sea St. at 11:08 p.m. Langille was charged with assault and battery domestic violence and intimidation of a witness.
