Man Arrested for Riding Bus Naked

Police arrested an East Falmouth man on Monday for stripping down and riding the bus naked, according to Barnstable Police documents.

The bus driver, who was heading toward Falmouth on Route 28, looked into her rear-view mirror around 2 p.m. and saw a man completely naked sitting at the back of the bus, the arrest report stated.

The arrest report states the bus driver told police the man, Victor Wayne Fox of 364 Teaticket Hwy., Apt. 207, East Falmouth, took off his clothes, threw them on the floor and acted as if everything was normal. The driver asked Fox to stay seated.

The driver called police and pulled into the Super Stop & Shop parking lot on Route 28 in Marstons Mills. By the time police arrived, Fox was dressed.

Fox was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness. He pleaded not guilty to his charges. 

Prior to being arrested, Fox allegedly asked the driver if the bus was going to New York City. The bus was scheduled to run between Hyannis and Falmouth.
