Man Arrested After Car Chase on Hyannis Main Street

Police arrested a Yarmouth man for allegedly chasing and ramming into another car on Main Street in Hyannis early Wednesday morning, the Cape Cod Times reported.

Christopher Seeley, 35, was charged with three counts (one for each victim) of assault and battery by means of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and being disorderly, police told the Times.

The altercation occurred when Seeley offered to give two of his friends a ride home from the bars. When the two entered his car,  Seeley “flipped out for some reason” and allegedly punched the ceiling of the car, Barnstable Sgt. Tom Bird told the Times.

The pair left Seeley's car and got in another friend's car. Seeley then rammed into the other car, chasing it down Main Street and striking it multiple times. Vehicle debris was scattered throughout the street, police said.
