Hyannis Senior Arrested for Allegedly Selling Heroin

A Hyannis woman is accused of dealing heroin from her home.

A 64-year-old Hyannis woman was arrested for allegedly dealing heroin after Barnstable Police executed a search warrant and found drugs with a street value of $1,500, police said.

According to police, a search warrant was obtained for the home at 386 Bishops Terrace in Hyannis after several undercover drug purchases were made from resident Nancy Smith. 

Police said upon executing the warrant detectives discovered approximately 6.1 grams of heroin in Smith’s vehicle parked in the driveway. Additional heroin was found inside the home along with a gram of cocaine and 16 suboxone tablets, police said in a press release.

Smith was charged with possession of a class A substance (heroin) with intent to distribute, and two counts of possession of a class B substance (cocaine and suboxone).
