Barnstable Sex Offender Arrested in Concord NH

Most Wanted High Risk Sex Offender who committed crimes in Barnstable in 2001 was arrested Wednesday.

The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) arrested a Most Wanted High Risk Sex Offender with connections to Barnstable on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Stephen H. Frostholm, Jr., 47, was arrested in Concord, NH, for failing to register as a sex offender as required by law. He has been classified as a High Risk, Level 3 Sex Offender by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board.

Frostholm was convicted of multiple sexual assault of two boys while he was working as a bus driver in Barnstable in 2001.

Frostholm has been convicted of similar sexual assaults in Maine and New Hampshire.

The VFAS South Team, New Hampshire State Police, local police and members of the U.S. Marshals Service set up surveillance on Frostholm. He was arrested in a parking lot Wednesday morning.
