Barnstable Police Log September 15: Flip-Flop Assault

The following information was supplied by the Barnstable Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Saturday, September 15

12:54 am - Police stopped a motor vehicle on Falmouth Road at Stub Toe Road, Cotuit. They arrested Christopher R. Standish, Jr., 26, of 96 Sean’s Circle, Centerville, and charged him with speeding, operating s motor vehicle so as to endanger and with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
1:14 am - Police stopped a motor vehicle in the vicinity of 382 Falmouth Road, Hyannis. They arrested Joshua P. McInnis, 20, of 108 Huckleberry Lane, Brewster. and charged him with marked lanes violation and possession of a dangerous weapon.
1:52 am - Police responded to a request to assist a boat at the west tip of Sampson Island. They arrested Richard Wallace Panton, 51, of 5 Gooseberry Lane, Marstons Mills, and charged him with reckless operation of a boat and with operating a boat while under the influence of liquor.
2:23 am - Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 420 West Main Street, Hyannis. They arrested Shawn Miles, 30, of 39 Boylston Street, Boston, on an outstanding warrant.
3:27 am - Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 25 Rosary Lane, Hyannis. They arrested Priscilla Leonard, 46, of 25 Rosary Lane, Hyannis, and charged her with domestic assault and battery and with assault and battery on a person older than 60.
6:12 am - Police responded to a report of attempted breaking and entering into the Citgo station at 4418 Falmouth Road, Cotuit.
9:06 am - Police responded to a report of vandalism at 144 Castlewood Circle, Hyannis.
2:31 pm - Police responded to a report of shoplifting at Silver Seahorse, 382 Main Street, Hyannis. They arrested Allison D. Morse, 41, of 3040 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills and Michelle B. Hazzard , 51, of 422 West Main Street, Hyannis and charged both with shoplifting.
4:27 pm - Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 36 Oak Neck Road, Hyannis. They arrested Eric J. Richard, 46, of 36 Oak Neck Road, Hyannis, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.
4:38 pm - Police assisted at a motor vehicle accident on Otis Road at Hallett Road, Hyannis. They arrested Joseph M. Hines, 54, of 18 Lakeside Drive, Martsons Mills, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle so as to endanger, leaving the scene of an accident after personal injury, operating a motor vehicle after revocation of license and with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (fourth offense).
5:35 pm - Police assisted at a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of 832 Bearse’s Way, Hyannis.
6:01 pm - Police responded to a report of larceny from St. Francis Xavier Rectory, 347 South Street, Hyannis.
6:08 pm - Police responded to a report of vandalism at 2 South Street, Hyannis.
6:10 pm - Police responded to a report of fraud at 168 Barnstable Road, Hyannis.
6:42 pm - Police stopped a motor vehicle on North Street, Hyannis (no address provided). They arrested Randolph J. Mills, 22, of 241 Stevens Street, Hyannis on two default warrants. They arrested Joseph T. Bearse, 21, of 32 Windjammer Lane, South Weymouth, on four default warrants.
8:42 pm - Police responded to a report of a hit and run at Burger King, 2145 Iyannough Road, Hyannis.
9:23 pm - Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 44 Fresh Holes Road. They placed an adult male in protective custody.
11:17 pm - Police stopped a motor vehicle in the Airport Rotary, Hyannis. They arreste an unidentified individual on unidentified charges.
11:51 pm - Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 118 Hickory Hill Circle, Osterville. The arrested Stephen L. Jones, 47, of 118 Hickory Hill Circle, Osterville, and charged him with domestic assault and battery, resisting arrest and with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a flip-flop) and placed him in protective custody.
