Barnstable Police Blotter: March 3 - 6

It was a busy weekend for police.

The following incidents, accidents and arrests took place in the town of Barnstable. All information was taken from the Barnstable Police Department log, includes all arrests and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 Thursday, March 3

6:32 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 219 Cotuit Bay Dr., Cotuit.

8:38 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance  to the hospital at Sencorp on Kidd's HIll Road.

8:43 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 95 Tanbark Rd., Marstons Mills.

9:26 a.m. - A residential breaking and entering was reported at 135 Scudder Ave., Hyannis.

9:31 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 7-Eleven on Route 28, Centerville.

No Time Available - Vandalism was reported at 32 Sea St., Ext., Hyannis.

11:47 a.m.  - A structure fire was reported at 205 Crockers Neck Rd., Cotuit. 

12:39 p.m.  - The fire department was called to 80 Bay View St., Hyannis. 

12:44 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 35 Phillips Rd., Hyannis.

No Time Available - Graffiti was reported at Barnstable High School.

2:56 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at Trans-Atlantic Motors Inc. on Route 28, Hyannis.

4:23 p.m. - A larceny was reported at Stop & Shop Supermarket on Independence Dr., Hyannis.

4:28 p.m. - A hit and run was reported at the Home Depot on Independence Dr., Hyannis.

4:53 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at TD Bank at 835 Main St., Osterville.

5:04 p.m. - Police provided civil assistance at 547 Shootfyling Hill Rd., Centerville.

5: 34 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at Cape Crossroads Condos at 800 Bearse's Way, Hyannis.

6:32 p.m. - A medical emergency was reported at 54 River Ridge Rd., Marstons Mills and police transported an person to the hospital.

7:56 p.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at 20 Lantern Ln., Hyannis. Police put Eric Hubler of the same address in protective custody and charged him with domestic violence assault and battery.

8:10 p.m. - A trespass harassment was reported at Kimber Woods Pump House on Route 132.

9:10 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 11 Hiramar Rd., Hyannis.

9:17 p.m. - A missing person was reported in the Cape Cod Mall parking lot and police arrested a 16-year-old on a warrant. 

9:18 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 35 Phillips Rd., Hyannis.

9:50 p.m. - Gun shots were reported at Centerville Elementary School, but were unfounded by Police.

11:18 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance at the BBC on Main Street, Hyannis.

11:36 p.m. - Harassment was reported at 77 Hamden Cr., Hyannis. 

Friday, March 4

1:20 a.m. - Police arrested Brett McCollem of 414 Oakland Rd., Hyannis for unlawful possession of mace during a motor vehicle stop.

1:34 a.m. - A structure fire was reported at 119 Country Club Dr., Barnstable.

2:33 a.m. - A suspicious person was reported at 1 Hiramar Rd. and Bearse's Way, Hyannis.

4:55 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 244 Mitchell's Way and Megan Road. 

5:01 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 185 Nye Rd. and Nottingham Drive, Centerville

5:58 a.m. - Police arrested Kenneth Tillman of 104 Rosemary Ln., Centerville with drug possession of a class a substance with intent to distribute or manufacture. 

8:49 a.m. - A larceny at Barnstable's Natural Resources department was reported. 

9:16 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at U-Haul Hyannis on Bearse's Way.

10:07 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at Barnstable High School.

No Time Available - Vandalism was reported at Barnstable Senior Center.

11:06 a.m. - A residential breaking and entering was reported at 14 Summer Ln., Hyannis.

11:44 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Mariner Cr., Cotuit. 

12:05 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at 107 Franklin Ave., Hyannis.

12:41 p.m. - An attempted breaking and entering was reported at 23 Redwood Ln., Hyannis.

12:18 p.m. - A suspicious person was reported at Am/PM Convenience on Bearse's Way, Hyannis.

1:11 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 382 Falmouth Rd., Hyannis.

1:26 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 153 Route 28, Hyannis.

1:33 p.m. - A structure fire was reported at the Cape Cod Inn on Main Street, Hyannis.

No Time Available - Harassment was reported at 45 Hathaway Rd., Osterville.

3:31 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance at Barnstable First District Court.

4:00 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at Cape Cod Hospital.

4:12 p.m. - An accident with personal injury was reported on Old Stage Road and Race Lane, Marstons Mills.

5:13 p.m. - A disturbance was gone on arrival at Mini Food Mart on Main Street, Hyannis.

5:16 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 38 Bodfish Pl., Hyannis.

5:22 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at the Cape Cod Package Store on Route 28.

5:27 p.m. - An intoxicated person disturbance was reported at Bradford's Ace Hardware, Hyannis.

5:40 p.m. - A hit and run was reported at Cumberland Farms on Barnstable Road in Hyannis.

5:46 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at 75 Nautical Way, Hyannis.

6:45 p.m. - A hit and run was reported at the Airport Rotary.

5:57 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at 119 Santuit-Newtown Rd., Marstons Mills.

6:23 p.m. - A larceny was reported at 153 Winter St., Hyannis.

6:03 p.m. - A shoplifting larceny was reported at Kmart on Route 132.

7:08 p.m. - Harassing phone calls were reported at KFC on Barnstable Road, Hyannis.

7:07 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at 8 Washington Ave., Hyannis.

8:09 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at 816 Old Strawberry Hill Rd., Hyannis.

8:20 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 29 Old Town Rd., Hyannis and police placed Anthony Melville Eldredge of 243 Fawcett Ln., Hyannis is protective custody.

8:48 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 78 Pleasant St., Hyannis.

9:04 p.m. - A hit and run was reported at DJ's Family Sports Club on Yarmouth Rd., Hyannis.

10:07 p.m. - A noise disturbance as reported at Birch Street and Washington Street, Hyannis.

11:15 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 539 Wakeby Rd., Marstons Mills.

11:25 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at the Dive Locker on Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis.

11:57 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 7 General Patton Dr., Hyannis. 

Saturday, March 5

1:31 a.m. - Suspicious activity was gone on arrival at Sea Meadow Village Condos, Hyannis.

No Time Available - Larceny was reported at Pufferbellie's.

2:06 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 1330 Phinney's Lane, Barnstable.

2:09 a.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at 33 Bluenose Ln., Marstons Mills. Police charged Douglas Crabtree of 24 Maple Ave., Centerville with assault, intimidation of a witness, injury to real or personal property and larceny of property more than $250.

No Time Available - Harassing phone calls were reported at 72 Deer Hollow Rd., Marstons Mills.

3:17 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at 990 Phinney's Ln., Hyannis.

3:53 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 87 Seventh Ave., Hyannis and police put Peter Smith of 3925 Main St., Cummaquid into protective custody. 

5:22 a.m. - Police followed-up on the 2:09 a.m. domestic violence call and arrested Douglas Crabtree at Crabtree CPA & Associates on North Street for the charges mentioned above. 

7:06 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Bank of America at Cape Town Plaza on Route 132.

7:15 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at 183 Cap'n Crosby Rd., Centerville.

No Time Available - Vandalism was reported at 11 Liberty Ln., Marstons MIlls.

8:35 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Bridle Path and Race Lane, Marstons Mills.

9:17 a.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at 12 Redwood Ln., Hyannis.

10:00 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance at 32 Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis.

11:01 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at 212 Cap'n Lijah's Rd., Centerville.

11:29 a.m. - Domestic threats were reported at 334 Craigville Beach Rd., Hyannis and police transported an individual to the hospital.

11:34 a.m. - A suspicious person was reported at Meineke Car Care Center on Route 28.

No Time Available - Police provided medical assistance at Barnstable Airport.

12:17 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported on Debbie Lane, Marstons Mills.

No Time Available - Vandalism was reported at 904 Main St., Cotuit.

4:16 p.m. - A suspicious person was reported at 1758 Route 28, Centerville.

4:15 p.m. - Police issued a summons during a motor vehicle stop to Jonathan Cotell of 115 La France Ave., Hyannis for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured and without registration.

5:37 p.m. - A intoxicated person disturbance was reported at Barnstable Municipal Airport. Police put Lisa Strojny of 10 Field Ave., Nantucket in protective custody.

6:07 p.m. - An assault and battery was reported at 7-Eleven and police issued a summons for Adam White of 1413 Route 28, Centerville for assault and battery.

7:57 p.m. - Police arrested Ira Lee Ward of 800 Bearse's Way for driving with a suspended license, a subsequent offense.

8:45 p.m. - Police arrested Lisa Maiden of 39 Sheaffer Rd., Centerville for an OUI and moving outside marked lanes and put Brian Tyrrell of 2017 Gallows Tree Ct., Vienna, Va. in protective custody.

9:17 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 291 Blackhorn Rd., Marstons MIlls.

9:26 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at 159 Park Ave., Centerville.

9:35 p.m. - A bar disturbance was reported at Tiki Port.

10:43 p.m. - Police issued a summons to Cindy Danenberg of 25 Saddler Ln., West Barnstable for operating a motor vehicle to endanger after getting into an accident with property damage at 660 Main St., West Barnstable.

11:06 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 392 Bearse's Way, Hyannis. 

Sunday, March 6

1:19 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at 92 Meagan Rd., Hyannis.

1:37 a.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at 800 Bearse's Way, Hyannis and police put Dawn Alvey of 800 Bearse's Way, Apt. 2NF in protective custody and charged her with domestic violence assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police issued a summons to Jose Olivio-Rivera of the same address for domestic assault and battery.

1:44 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 12 Birchill Rd., Centerville.

2:11 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 73 Megan Rd., Hyannis and police issued a summons.

2:18 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 37 Heather Ln., Marstons Mills.

2:47 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Old Stage Road.

3:01 a.m. - A party disturbance was reported at 85 Spruce St., Hyannis.

8:37 a.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at 127 Pine Ave., Hyannis. 

8:58 a.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at Cape Cod Cars and Trucks on Barnstable Rd., Hyannis.

9:02 .am. - Vandalism was reported at Hyannisport Club Pro Shop, Hyannis.

10:26 a.m. - Larceny was reported at 107 Highland Dr., Centerville.

No Time Available - Suspicious activity was reported at International Inn Cuddle and Bubbles.

11:06 a.m. - Police arrested Shainah Lopes of 67 Canterbury Cr., Hyannis during a motor vehicle stop for an outstanding warrant in Barnstable for driving with a suspended license and arrested Corey Moses of 22 Ben Abbery St., Bourne for operating a motor vehicle without a license, a Barnstable warrant for larceny and a Sandwich warrant for driving with a suspended license.

11:35 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at 52 Stanley Way., Centerville.

11:38 a.m. - An accident with personal injury was reported Route 29 and Lumbert Mill, Centerville.

12:46 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at Victory Chapel, Barnstable.

1:28 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at 20 Truman Ln., Cotuit.

1:36 p.m. - An intoxicated person disturbance was reported and police transported a person to the hospital.

2:10 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at 60 Saddler Ln., Marstons Mills.

2:37 p.m. - Police arrested Anthony Russ of 19 General Patton Dr., Hyannis for failure to stop for a police officer, operating a vehicle with a revoked license and reckless operation to endanger.

4:44 p.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at 243 Sandalwood Dr., Cotuit and police arrested Jason Lescault of the same address for domestic assault and battery. 

5:49 p.m. - Injured animals were reported at 4 Linden St., Hyannis.

6:01 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at Subway on Route 28, Hyannis.

6:13 p.m. - Larceny was reported at 8 Seabrook Rd., Hyannis.

7:05 p.m. - Harassment was reported at 78 Pleasant St., Hyannis.

7:24 p.m. - Unfounded gunshots were reported.

8:06 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at CVS on North St., Hyannis.

8:31 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 163 Hinckley Rd., Hyannis.

8:51 p.m. - Vandalism was reported at MBM Auto Sale, Hyannis.

8:58 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Seapuit Rd., Osterville.

10:08 p.m. - A noise disturbance was reported at 22 Hiramar Rd., Hyannis.

10:38 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at 215 Main St., Hyannis.
