New Well at Pilgrim Shows High Tritium Levels
The well at Pilgrim Nuclear Station showed elevated levels of tritium.
Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station had to file an event report with the federal government over elevated levels of a radioactive element found in a new test well.
The well, one of 23 around the site, showed elevated levels of tritium. The facility will begin testing more frequently, according to the event report.
