MSPCA-Centerville Pet of the Week: Gretel the Guinea Pig

Gretel is a sweet natured two-year-old brown and white guinea pig who was brought to the MSPCA-Centerville Adoption Center because her owner moved and left her behind.  She’s a touch nervous at first but warms up quickly and would make a fabulous first pet for a child, or indeed anyone who appreciates guinea pigs.  Guinea pigs are easy to keep, low maintenance pets who offer companionship and love in exchange for very basic care!

The MSPCA-Centerville Adoption Center is located at 1577 Falmouth Road in Centerville, Mass. Hours of operation are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:30p.m. to 4:00p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 12:00a.m. to 4:00p.
