Dear Allen:

Re:       Allen Waters, Please Sign the Pledge to Revoke Cape Cod Commission Regulatory Power

First, I sincerely hope that this message finds you well and your initial political campaign efforts proving fruitful and productive.

Secondly, as you are aware, several weeks ago I officially signed aPledge to Revoke Cape Cod Commission Regulatory Power, if and when I am elected as State Senator for the Cape and Islands District (“God willing”). In a transparent effort to specifically clarify your own present official policy position regarding the overly burdensome impact of the Cape Cod Commission's current regulatory power over Cape Cod residents, I hereby formally challenge you and request that you please sign the attached"Pledge to Revoke Cape Cod Commission Regulatory Power." Once again, this needs to be done in order to concretelyexhibit your position on this important issue, one way or the other. If you are amenable to signing the Pledge, then I further request that you please do so on or before July 4, 2014.

If you choose NOT to sign the pledge to revoke the regulatory power of the Cape Cod Commission, then on the other hand that at least will also clearly illustrate that you support the continued expansion of its land use regulatory power, and its detrimental impact upon productive economic development efforts beneficial to the population of this peninsula. It essentially would mean that you covet the same onerous public policy position as radically liberal Democrat State Senator Daniel Wolf.

I look forward to your open and transparent response one way or the other regarding this significant regional public policy matter on or before this coming national independence holiday, July 4, 2014.No response will of course have the same de facto result as a decision NOT to sign the aforementioned pledge.

Thank you, and please have a pleasant and productive week.

Sincerely yours,

RON BEATY
