Airport Sub-committee Sessions, Mystery Novel Discussion

Here are five things you need to know Wednesday, Oct. 2.

1. Temperatures are rising Wednesday in Barnstable, according to the National Weather Service. The high will be around 76.

2. Marstons Mills Public Library will kick off a celebration of mystery books and films with a potluck supper and discussion of Prestige, by Christopher Priest on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

3. The Barnstable 375th Anniversary Committee will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall.

4. The Sturgis Library will hold its Songwriting & Creative Music Making course for children 9 to 12 years old Wednesday at 4 p.m. Registration for the series is required.

5. There are two airport sub-committee meetings on Wednesday. The Airport Finance Sub-committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. and the Airport Infrastructure Sub-committee will meet at 9:30 a.m.
