Hyannis Business Improvement District Provides Service Awards

The Hyannis Business Improvement District Annual Meeting was held last week.

The Hyannis Business Improvement District recognized several individuals at its Annual Meeting at Embargo last week.

Executive Director Elizabeth Wurfbain handed out the awards at the ceremony.

  • Bob “the Mailman” Bocuzzi received the Cynthia Cole award for exhibiting passion and perseverance for Main Street  
  • Pastor John Terry of the FederatedChurch received the Main Street Citizen Award
  • Beech Tree Cantina received the Beacon Award for the business that projects a positive commitment to Main Street
New board members were also introduced at the meeting. The new board members are:
  • Lynn Mitchell, Mrs. Mitchell’s Gifts
  • Sam Mazzeo, Palio’s Pizzeria
  •  Nezer Al-Dokhi, Common Ground
