Hyannis Area Chamber Plans Barnstable October Bash

The Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Halloween and fall with its first-ever Barnstable October Bash. The Halloween on the Green event will feature a wide range of seasonal activities on Saturday, Oct. 26.

"October is one of the most beloved months of the year in Barnstable. Its beauty and bounty are legendary. The Chamber decided to add an October event to draw visitors and locals to our town to patronize merchants, engage with the artists, artisans and crafters in the Hyannis Cultural District and provide fun, safe activities for all," said Jessica Sylver, CEO of Hyannis Area Chamber.

The public is invited to the celebration at the Hyannis Village Green from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. this Saturday.

Activities include: pumpkin carving, costume parade, pet parade, zombie run, Pumpkin beer festival, live music and karaoke.

A masquerade ball under the stars, featuring a DJ and dancing, will complete the day of activities.
