Shorebirds of Barnstable Harbor

Barnstable’s Great Marsh and Barrier Beach ecosystem has
accommodated over 300 species of birds within the last 300 years of record
keeping. Many of these species are shorebirds, dependent on this ecosystem for
food and nesting habitat. Join Ian Ives, Director of Mass Audubon's Long
Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, for a glimpse into the lives and conservation of
these astounding avian beachgoers. This talk is free, but registration is
requested.
