Journey to Storyland-Selected Scenes

Members
of the cast of Journey to Storyland,
Barnstable High School's Family Summer Theater production, will present selected
scenes from the play.

Families,
especially those with younger children, are invited to see this abbreviated
performance and meet the actors and actresses who will present their favorite
scenes.

Journey to Storyland
is an original play, written and directed by Matt Kohler, and produced by
Edward O’Toole.  The full play is being
presented in the Knight Theatre at Barnstable High School on weekends from July
11 to July 21.

Matt Kohler, who is a Barnstable
High School, BHS Drama Club, and Summer Family Theatre alumnus, is directing Journey
to Storyland. Kohler is a recent graduate of Keene State College, where he
majored in directing.

Ed O’Toole has been teaching for 28
years, the last 21 as a member of the Barnstable High School EnglishDepartment.  During those 21 years he has
taught nearly 20 different courses in addition to serving 4 years as the coach
of the Speech Team and 15 as the yearbook teacher and advisor.

The program is free and open to the
public, although donations are always welcome.
