Beyond Beauty Salons, with locations in Hyannis and Mashpee, will host Ladies Night Out events to benefit breast cancer awareness. Women are invited to stop by for a complimentary fifteen minute chair massage, an express manicure or a make-up lesson. Refreshments will also be served. The events take place Thursday, October 18 from 5-8 PM at the Hyannis Salon and Thursday, October 25 from 5-8 PM in Mashpee.
Donations will be accepted to benefit the Silent Spring research organization. Based in Massachusetts, Silent Spring Institute is staffed and led by researchers dedicated to science that serves the public interest. They partner with physicians, public health and community advocates and other scientists to identify and break the links between environmental chemicals and women’s health, especially breast cancer.
