Children And Families Invited To Learn About Cape Cod Turtle Rescues At The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary On Sunday, April 27th at 3:00 P.M.

Renowned local author Sara Hoagland Hunter’s new children’s book, Every Turtle Counts, chronicles the amazing rescue efforts of Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and a host of Cape Cod volunteers to save earth's rarest breed of sea turtles, the Kemp’s ridley.

Children and families are invited to join Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary for a special presentation by the author, followed by a signing and reading of Every Turtle Counts. Ask sanctuary director Bob Prescott, who is featured in the book, anything you want to know about Cape Cod turtle rescues!

Event is suitable for all ages. Ticket cost is $7.00 for members, $9.00 for nonmembers. Registration is required. Register online or call 508-349-2615 to register by phone.
