Boating Theme Week - Basic Coastal Navigation
During the summer of 2014, Cape Cod Maritime Museum will be offering maritime science and art (“STEAM”) based classes for youth and adults. There are two week long themes throughout the summer. The classes can be taken as the week long seminar at $190, an individual class for $45 or the activity with each class at 10am for the cost of $15. The full class is offered from 9:30am—12:30pm and they are for ages 7 and older.
Have you ever wondered how boats and ships manage to sail around the shores of Cape Cod.  In this class, you will learn how to navigate near the coast, allowing you to find your position by the use of landmarks and other positions.
